How Can You Tell If Your Ex Is Into You Again?

No matter if you've been trying for a long time to get your ex back or you just broke up, you probably wonder if you still have a chance with your ex. You wonder if there is still something there and what you can do to leverage these feelings and hopefully get back together with your ex. After all, your ex isn't going to come right out and tell you that they are feeling something for you or that they love you in the wake of your breakup. But maybe there are clues that your ex is sending you that will encourage you and help you to continue on with your quest to win them back.
After a breakup your ex is probably going to build a wall around themself. Your ex will not want to lead you on or give you false hope that they might be considering getting back together. Your ex has made a huge decision to end your relationship so they are going to be very skittish and careful around you, especially if you have been trying very hard to be nice to try to win them back. In a basic sense though, any sort of contact from your ex is a good sign that they are still into you or waiting to see what you are going to do. Any sort of contact is a sign that they still have feelings for you.
Of course, if your ex does contact you for something important that needs to be taken care of, try not to read into things too much. If you ex contacts you because they need their belongings, try not to get too excited and think that your ex is opening the door to reinitiating some sort of romance with you. You very well might make a fool out of yourself by reading too much into this and behaving as if they are knowingly trying to win you back!
Often the signs of affection and that your ex still feels something for you might be more subtle. A short text message or a quick phone call when your ex knows that you'll have a few mintues to talk are signs that your ex still cares. Having your ex check on you to see if you're ok or just to see how you are doing are signs that they are thinking of you. Remember, this wasn't an easy decision to make on your ex's part and they are feeling loss and some lonliness also probably. Although this isn't something that you should jump for joy over, it is a sign that there is still emotion there.
What is important though is what you do to move things in the right direction if you feel that your ex is still into you and what is even more important is that you not do the things that are going to push them away. It can be a very delicate dance at this point and pushing too hard can often cause your ex to devalue you and make you appear weak and needy. Often people do the exact wrong things hoping that they will be able to convince their ex to come back to them when there is genuine interest on their partner's part and they wind up ruining their chances of getting their ex back. It is all about subtlety and being intuitive to what works and what is actually going to hurt your chances of getting back together with your ex.

Like I said, often there just aren't any clues. Often your ex will hole up and give you absolutely no indication that they still love you or that they might be considering getting back together. Even if you are hitting all your marks and doing everything right, there will often be no indication that what you are doing is having an effect upon your ex. Often it will be in a single conversation or a moment of weakness that your ex will break down and finally confess their heart to you. Be working towards that day and never give up if your dream is to get back together with your ex.
